BODY ARMOR
| Chain mail |
This is also referred to as ring
mail. It's made of many steel rings and constructed of multiple linkings
sewn to a leather cloth. The chain mail was used mostly from the
11th century to the 13th century. The cost of the chain mail was
high. Because it was double heavy, it was double protection. |

| The Jack |
The jack was a padded garment stuffed
with wool, hair, or similar material. Though it sounds like a weak armor,
it was surprisingly good at stopping a dead blow. |
