A person named Lewis P. Robinson is one of the USS Arizona survivors. Lewis died in 1997 at age 78. Lewis had always said that when he died he wanted to be buried in the USS Arizona. The survivors of the USS Arizona can be buried in the USS Arizona or not when they die.

A sailor named Corporal E.C. Nightingale experienced the attack. He is one of the survivors of Pearl Harbor. He took off his shoes and found himself in the water. He thought he had a concusion from the bomb that threw him in the water. He swam 115 feet to shore. While he was swimming to shore he saw major Shapley. Major Shapley grabed on to the Corporal and told him to swim to shore. Corporal and Shapely got on to shore and a marine took then to a bomb shelter and survived the rest of the attack.

Also there is a person named Fred Durboraw and he is one of the survivors of Pearl Harbor. Fred was 18 years old when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. Fred was on the on the USS Phoenix. His ship was never hit.
