Subject: World War II Project - Genshi's class will join

Hi Cherie and Lynne,

We said that Genshi would not be able to join your WWII project,
but he changed his mind when he read your questions.

1. What is it like in Hiroshima today?
2. What do you think of Pearl Harbor?
3. Do you have/know any survivors of the bomb or were affected by it?
4. How do you study about World War II in school?

His class students (6th grade) went to Hiroshima on their school trip in June. They took pictures of Hiroshima Peace Park and listened to one of survivors of the bomb. You can see the photos and poems which the students made in "Learning from Hiroshima" in Goodbye, Hello Project.

We thought it would be good for them to think about the war again, and to share ideas with your students. They will talk about the questions next week. As there are 6 groups in the class, they will be happy if you give them 2 more questions.

If you want photos of Hiroshima today, LABO students will take some in January and March. Which photos do you want to see?

Best wishes,
Yuko and Genshi
