Shin's Tricycle

It was the morning of August 6, 1945. 4-year old Shin was outside his house riding his tricycle when the bomb dropped.

He was badly burnt and was pinned under a beam of his house. His parents found him gripping the handlebars of his tricycle. After a day of suffering, Shin died.

His parents decided to bury him with his tricycle. Years later, Shin's tricycle was dug up and is now in display in the Hiroshima Peace Museum. The tricycle is burnt but you could still tell it's a tricycle.
