How We Did Our Site Design
First we looked at different sites that won and we selected sites that we liked and suggested what we liked about each site and how we could include it into ours. (Example: We wanted to have a drop down menu but we dropped that idea because it was too complicated and we wanted to be simple. )
- Then we sketched out what our site would look like and we talked about it. We said what we liked and what we didn't like.
- So instead of just picking one we liked we decided to combine them together.
- Our coach help us put it together and we all had a meeting to see what we thought of it and if we didn't like a certian thing we would talk about what we would want in place.
- We also talked about navigation and how our viewer would be able to travel around our site. We divided our site in to 3 parts. Past, Present, and Future. Among these divisions our topics came under them. They were Pearl Harbor, Internment Camps, and Hiroshima under Past.
- Causes of War and Decisions of War came under Present. Preserving Peace and About us came under Future.
- We also made headers for our sections so our viewers would know which section they're in.
- We also had to think about out section organization.
- We had to talk about were our frames would go and how they would balance in.
- We decided to put our menu bar on the right for our different sections and another frame on the top for the links will go for them to visit the different parts of our site.
