Did you know that the Rambur Forktail is a damselfly?

 

 

The Rambur Forktail (Ischnura ramburii) is a damselfly that was introduced to Hawaii. The male can easily be recognized by its bright green thorax. The bottom of the abdomen is blue. The female is found in three color forms.

 

 

The habitant for this damselfly is heavily vegetated lakes, ponds, marshes and slow reaches of streams exposed to sunlight including brackish water. They are found in most parts of North America and Hawaii.
