The narrow
leafed cattails (Typha angustata) are often
referred to as clubrushes. The cattails are found
growing bunched together in and near freshwater and
brackish marshes. They are perennial herbs, and are
invasive (tending to spread) plants. The cattails
are hard to get rid of and other plants such as
California Grass were sent to control them, but
usually they too got out of control.
