Dinosaurs have been awesome to people, especially children, for many, many years. Like Tyrannosaurus rex, many of them were fierce, massive, and scary! They were creatures you would definitely not want to have come face to face with, but they are amazing creatures to study (now that they are extinct).Studying dinosaurs and about their extinction helps you to understand why we must pay special attention to the changes that are happening in our environment. We don't want to see living things become extinct because we didn't take the time to look at changes around us.
In 1990 Sue Hendrickson, a paleontologist, found what is now the most complete Tyrannosaurus rex fossil. The discovery of "Sue T-rex" has greatly increased interest in not just Tyrannosaurus rex, but dinosaurs as a whole. So pack up your tools and have fun exploring our interactive site. Maybe you, too, will want to become a paleontologist just like Sue Hendrickson.
Actually, you can get in on the fun right now. You see, my father, Mr. Mu S. Eum, runs the famous Poshib Museum. He is almost ready to open his newest exhibit, THE AMAZING TYRANT LIZARD & COMPANY, and is trying very hard to find information on dinosaurs of the Cretaceous Period. He's turned to my older brother and me for help, but we need YOUR HELP! Please join us on our "Rex rampage" and select the dinosaur of your choice to place in the museum.
