Volcanic Action
Volcanic activity may have caused the extinction of Tyrannosaurus rex and many other dinosaurs. When volcanoes erupt, they send huge clouds of dust and poisonous gases into the air making the air almost impossible to breathe. The dust and ash in the atmosphere would also change the climate. The dust would be so thick that it would block the sunlight from going through the atmosphere. The ground would be covered with layers and layers of molten rock. The dinosaurs were covered in hot magma and their skin got burnt off. The dinosaurs would never have survived such a dangerously poisoned environment!
