This is the Ghost Dispatch scientist giving you information about what supplies you should use when going ghost hunting. Below is a list of compiled items a ghost hunter will find useful. |

|
1. Flashlight- A flashlight is a simple, but essential piece of equipment. A small, shockproof, and waterproof one is best. 2. Camera- A camera with which to take pictures. A simple camera is sufficient. 3. Tape recorder- you can use it as a voice diary. A small one will suffice. 4. Digital watch- it should have a light up face 5. E.M.F. (electromagnetic fluctuation) detector- there are electromagnetic fluctuations when a ghost is present. |
6. Pair of night vision goggles- it will allow you see in the dark without calling attention to yourself by turning on your flashlight. Some people say that you can only see "spirits" through night vision equipment. 7. Camcorder- Keep it running the whole time. It can replace the tape recorder and the camera, but it is best to have all three. 8. Thermometer- Hauntings are sometimes accompanied by one or more cold spots. 9. Map- it mostly eliminates the possibility of being lost. By now you're probably wondering when this supply list will end. 10. Identification- it should prevent trouble with the police. A last tip is to only bring what you need. |

Could You Capture
|
There are several ways to do it. First, there are some questions you should ask yourself: How do you want to "capture" it (take a photograph, record it with a video camera, get EMF readings of it, ect.)?
If you want to take a photograph, than I would advise taking the following steps: |

| I have drawn the floor plan of the Myer House. The second floor hall is the area in the house where the sightings of Mrs. Myer have occurred. Three video cameras are needed to get complete coverage of the hallway. The cameras are placed in the bedroom doorways, which will provide the best view of the hall. The video cameras have been loaded with tapes that can record all night. |

Two Ways to
|
1. Position video cameras in areas where sightings are common. Hook the cameras up to a thermometer or EMF detector. When the temperature drops or there is an EMF, the cameras in that area will activate. Set the cameras to deactivate when the temperature returns to normal and EMF stop. 2. Position several video cameras in areas where sightings are common. Keep them running full time, and set them so that when one runs out of tape, another one activates. Those are two ways to video tape a ghost. If you want to get EMF readings, then I would advise taking the following steps: 1. Position EMF detectors in areas where sightings are common. 2. Connect the EMF detectors to machines that will either save the data gathered or print the data out. You could combine these different methods, or you could go out and search for ghosts if you want a first hand experience. |
