Ghost Dad
Director - Sidney Poitier
Year Made - 1990

Ghost Dad Earns 3 Lesters

This movie was about a father who dies by drowning. He was in a cab and the driver drove off a bridge. He then becomes a ghost. At first he doesn't realize that he really is a ghost. He makes it home and discovers that when it is dark he can be seen. Even though he is a ghost he still has to take care of his family because his wife died some time ago. He runs into difficulties because he can't always be with his family. He also has to go to an appointment to get life insurance because he doesn't have it yet.

He finds out that the only way he can come back to life is to get back inside his body. One time when he was home his daughter falls down the stairs and turns into a ghost.

She is then rushed to the hospital. While they were at the hospital the father notices that he is dying even as a ghost (this happens because his body was still alive, but now is dying). If you want to know what happens next you are going to have to watch the movie (trust me, it is a great movie).

An evil spirit came through it and asked the Ghost Busters what form the "traveler" should come in. Raymond chose the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man without talking to the other Ghostbusters. The Ghostbusters defeated the "traveler" and saved the world.

Kat was exploring the attic when she found many of Casper’s toys. When Casper sees his toy train he remembers everything from his previous life.

Casper takes Kat to his dad’s a special room and shows Kat his dad’s invention. It is a machine that was built to make ghosts like Casper comes back to life.

When Casper is about to use the machine Kat’s dad enters the room as a ghost, and so Casper lets Kat’s dad use the machine. Casper knew that Kat’s dad needed it more than he did. To find out if Casper ever gets his wish of coming alive be sure to watch Casper - seeing is believing.

Ghost Busters II
Director - Ivan Reitman

1989

Ghost Busters II Earns 2 Lesters

This movie is about an evil painting, Vigo who is trying to take over New York City. To do this Vigo needs a human, and plans on taking over Dana’s baby, Oscar.

An evil slime runs down 100 feet of First Avenue, which grows from humane emotion like anger and hate. The slime covers the New York City Museum, where the painting of Vigo is on display.

It’s up to the Ghost Busters to stop evil Vigo before he takes over Dana’s baby.

As the terror starts, ghosts begin running around scaring people in the city. An animal fur coat touched by the slime comes alive and runs down the street. If anyone touches the slime, they turn bad.

The Titanic arrived at the dock of New York City and the Statute of Liberty can move after it has been touched by the slime.

Can the Ghostbusters stop all this evil before midnight of New Year's Eve when Vigo takes possession of Oscar?
