LUPUS

Greeks and Romans generally knew this star group as a wild beast.  One classical legend says this was the wolf into which Lycaon was turned by Zeus for the crime of serving human flesh at a banquet for the gods.

Fun Fact: Arabs saw Lupus in this area of the sky a leopard or panther.
