Delphinus

In Greek legend, Delphinus saved the life of the poet-mistrel Arion when the leaped overboard from a ship to escape rufitian sailors who were threatening his life.  The dolphin carried Arion to shore before the ship arrived, and when it did arrive the crew were taken and executed.
