Pan

In some myths he is the son of Hermes and Penelope. In others, he is the son of Zeus and the Nymph, Callisto.  He is mostly human in appearance, but has goat horns and legs.  Pan is an excellent musician and plays the pipes.  He is playful and is seen frequently dancing with woodland nymphs.  Pan is always pursuing one of the nymphs, but is rejected because he is ugly.  He is at home in any wild place, but his favorite is Arcady.
