Aphrodite

Aphrodite is the goddesses of Love. When Aphrodite was born she just rose out of the sea in a cloud of foam. When she walks on grass the flowers spring up. She is also known as the goddesses of beauty and desire.  She is known to be the most beautiful goddess in Olympia. Aphrodite was beautiful and she was  kind, but sometimes she wanted revenge. Liked by all the gods and mortals, Aphrodite's beauty usually made others jealous.

When Eris instigated a fight by causing Aphrodite, Athena and Hera to argue about which of them was the fairest, Paris was to be the judge. The three goddesses attempted to bribe him. Paris liked Aphrodite's bribe the best which was to make Helen fall in love with him. In thanks to Paris' support Aphrodite made her son Eros take Paris to Greece  to find Helen. When Aphrodite lost a beauty contest to another goddess named Cale, she turned her into an old woman.
