FATES and JUDGES

The Judges reside in the underworld and determine the fate of a soul. The Fates have the power to decide the destiny of mortals. They get to determine if a person is good or evil, and how long they shall live. The Fates came before the gods and they may even be able to determine the destiny of the gods.

AEACUS

A temple was constructed in his honor on the Aegean island of Aegina.

CLOTHO

The spinner, clotho spins the thread of life.  

 

MINOS

MInos is the son of Zeus and Europa and succeeded his brother as king of Crete.

LACHESIS

The measurer, Lachesis chooses the lot of life and determines the length of life.  

RHADAMANTHYS

 Rhadamanthys is the son of Zeus and Europa.  He was the king of Crete and was succeeded by his brother Minos

ATROPOS

Who can not turn, Atropos shears the thread of life.
