Small Intestine

The small intestine is the small part of the intestines. It is a long winding tube that receives partly digested food from the stomach. The small intestine completes the digestion of food and sends it to the blood.Most problems whith the small intistine occur in babies. Babies can't fully digest their food and have to be fed intravenously. It is rare to find this case in adults.
