Japanese: Autobiography
Just Me, Todd
and "My Family Roots"
My name is Todd . I am a 10 year old boy and live in Hilo, Hawaii. I am in the 5th grade. I can't write very good, but my dad says I'm very creative. He says creativity is my strong point. My dad works at an orchid nursery and takes care of the laboratory there. He reads a book called, Harry Potter during his lunch break. My mom works at a church across the school I go to. She is the secretary at her workplace. Sometimes she forgets to bring her lunch.
My grandma, works at the same place my dad works at. I don't know what job she got at the nursery, but every time I fold newspapers, she weights it , and pays me by the pound. Say the newspaper stack is about 7 pounds. She pays me 7 dollars. She is also a very good cook. My grandpa goes fishing whenever he gets the chance. I know he works someplace, but I don't know the name of the place. My grandparents live right next to us. I like to play basketball as a sport. I used to play soccer, but I don't play it anymore. I used to play the ukulele before but I got tired of it after 1 year of playing.
I learned a lot from during this project. I learned that we are spoiled and don't know how good we have it here. Some people are bunched up in China because 1 portion of the land has deserts, no plant can grow there, or it has sand storms. We use every single piece of land here in the U.S. aren't we lucky? Russia is bigger than most countries. Guess what? It's useless! All of that land space is useless. We don't realize how good we have it here in America. That's it for now. Bye!
