How can I help?   Agriculture  |  Recreation  |  Health  |  Regional Effects  |  Causes

Wuz-up? My name is Natalie, and of course, I go to the same school as Chelsea and M.J. I am in the sixth grade, and love music such as Backstreet Boys, 'NSYNC, 98º, and TLC, sports, and Think Quest Junior (!!!). I am the third in a family of five children. It ranges from my sister who is in college, to my little brother, who is four. We live by a lake. I'm a recreation officer in our 4-H club and I love it.

Mary is my best friend, and we had a few disputes about backgrounds, but we worked it out in flying colors. Chelsea was very agreeable, understanding, and hard working. I really loved Think Quest, and learned a lot about compromise, and working as a team. I hope in the future to make a website of my own, and Think Quest is a great experience for it. I learned so much about graphics, programs, and how to make a website. I can't wait until next year.

Howdy, my name is Mary Jo, I'm 11 years old and in the 6th grade. I go to a private catholic school in Northeast Ohio. I love soccer, other sports, music including the Backstreet Boys, and of course Think Quest. I live on a farm with my family that consists of my dad, mom, my older sister, and my younger brother. On our farm we have two horses, a pig, fifteen cats, a dog, and around thirty cows, including my cow that I take to the county fair. I also am in a 4-H club with all my friends.

I think that Think Quest was a great experience for me. I learned lots of cool and interesting facts, plus I got to hang out with my friends Natalie, Chelsea, and my well loved coach Mrs. Durkee. Even though we disagreed a few times we all worked it out together. I can't wait until next year's Think Quest team.

Hi! I’m Chelsea. I am 12 years old and live in Northeast Ohio where I go to a Catholic school called SSMJ. I live in the country. There are many woods, fields, and farms around my house. I share my house with my parents, one sister, three dogs, ten chickens, and one horse, cat, parakeet, and fish. My hobbies are hunting, fishing, drawing, reading and playing my piano, flute, didgeridoo, and violin. I also enjoy the class I am taking at Kent State University called "Music as a World Phenomenon".

Last year one of my teachers came up to me told me about Think Quest and asked me if I wanted to join. I said yes because it sounded very fun. I was right! I loved learning about global warming. I also loved creating the website and I hope people learn a lot from it.

Here's a poem I wrote about our topic. If you write one, put it in our Journal!

In the day
Bright sun smiling down on you,
A large vast sky that's sparkling blue
Trees waving in the breeze
Chirping birds, buzzing bees
Butterflies floating through the air
Lightly, softly without a care
Then comes night
Filling the sky with red, and blue, purple and black
Calling the forenight's twinkling stars back
