In 1989 football/baseball player Deion Sanders became the first pro athlete to hit a home run and make a touchdown in one week. The home run was on September 5 for the New York Yankees and the touchdown was 5 days later for the Atlanta Falcons.
The closest score in Super Bowl history was Super Bowl XXV. This game was played by the New York Giants verse the Buffalo Bills. The score was 20-19. With 40 seconds left in the game one bad kick was made by Scott Norwood that lost the game for the Bills. The kick would have won the game but the kick sailed wide right.
