Sagittarius is a zodiac constellation. Sagittarius is located south of the constellation Aquila. Sagittarius is imaged as an Archer. Eight of its stars, the brightest of which is the fourth-magnitude star Rukbut is visible to the naked eye. It is visible from December 17 - January 15 when Capricorn the sea goat appears.
