Servings of the Four Food Groups

My memo to you:  You know that it's important for everyone around the world to stay healthy, so here are some U.S. Hill-billies, British, and Australian friends to help us.

Fruits & Veggies: Hay ho! How yall' doin' today? Way down yander down here, we're all learnin' bout' fruits and veggies. Did yall' know that yall' need to eat bout' four servins'of citrus fruits a day to get enough vitamin C? Well ya do now. Ya also need to eat one servin of your greenies every other day to get enough vitamin A.

Meat Group: Know what. Here in Grae Britin, we're all talking about your meaties. This group consists of beef, veal, pork, lamb, poultry, fish, dry beans, dry peas, nuts, peanut butter, and eggs.  Actually two  servings every day should keep you healthy.

Milk Group: Ay mate! Down here in Australia, we're startin' off our day with a glous of milk. If you're under 9, drink 2-3 cups a day mate. Wait, you in the back. You're 9 and your friend there's 12? Three or more cups a day. And that group of teeny boppers over there, 4 cups a day. You adult mates, 2 cups a day.

Bread and Cereal: Here in the United Sates, we start off our day with cereal. You probably need to eat 4 or more servings of bread and/or cereal a day.
