Tundra
Tundra Tundra is almost a treeless and the coldest biome in the world.
It covers Asia, North America , and the north part of Europe. The ground
of tundra is permafrost. Permafrost is where the ground is permanently
frozen. During the short summer plants such as grasses , mosses, small
shrubs, and small flowering plants grow through the wet soil. In the winter
many animals such as caribou, musk oxen, geese, and many other animals
migrate for warmer weather and more food.Insects are only plentiful in
the summer. The temperatures range between 10 degrees Celsius to 57 degrees
Celsius all year round.
