The people that live in this rain forest are aborigines, native to the land. They live in a large area of the rain forest, that lies between Cardwell and Cooktown. When they have special events the men dance and sing. The women beat drums and keep rhythms. The food sources are raw berries, black beans, eggs, and scrub turkeys. They also eat seeds, fruits, stems, and some cooked or processed in different ways.
