Connected
Step by step instructions to
start LEGO Dacta
FOR KIT 9702 ONLY
1. Install the LEGO Dacta software according to the directions.
2. Plug the transformer into an outlet and connect the other end to the interface.
3. Hook up the interface cable (the gray cable) to the computer.
4. Take the connecting lead from the motor and hook it up to Output "A" (the black wire with metal plates) onto the interface.
5. Click on the LEGO Dacta icon on your computer screen.
6. Click file on the menu and choose new project. (Make sure you have a Command Center, if you don't, click Window from the menu and choose Command Center).
7. Drag the motor symbol to Output "A" on your screen, then drag Lamp to Output "B", and last drag Sound to Output "C".
8. Click the circles above the motor, lamp and sound to make sure all connections are working.
