Marbled Cat
The marble cat has large, molted blotches covering
its body and a large bushy tail that often equals its body length of 60
cm. The tail is a good indicator that the marbled cat is arboreally active.
The base fur coloration can be any color between pale yellow and brownish
grey, with the underparts being a lighter color. The marbled cat ranges
all the way from North East India to Borneo and Sumatra. It lives mostly
in forested areas leading many to believe that the canopy is its main source
of food, providing birds, squirrels, and reptiles.
