The Eurasian lynx is much larger than the Canadian lynx at up to 1.3 meters in length, and is more noticeably spotted. It is found in some of Europe's northern countries and in parts of Greece and Czechoslovakia. Recently, it has been re-introduced into Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Deer make up the main part of its diet with rabbit intermixed.
