Coquerel's Mouse Lemur

The coquerel's mouse lemur lives on the northwest and west-central coasts of Madagascar. They have an average life span of ten years. Their body length is seven to eleven inches. They have short fur, short snouts,
rounded skulls, prominent eyes, and long hind limbs and tails. During the wet season they eat fruits, gums, flowers, and insects. During the dry
season they eat a sweet liquid secreted onto branches by insect larvae.
They are designated as rare and endangered.
