Clouded Leopard
The clouded leopard is so different from the rest
of the large cats that it has its own genus, Neofelis. It got its name
from the brown/black "cloud" pattern on its coat. Clouded leopards are
the size of a small jaguar, about 38 in. tall. Its natural habitat is the
rainforest, so its long balancing tail is very useful for climbing trees.
Its diet includes deer, wild pigs, reptiles, and birds.
