American Alligator

Genus & Species: Alligator mississipiensis

This alligator may have size but it does not have speed. These alligators live in wetlands and swamps of Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. They eat insects, shrimp, tadpoles, frogs, fish, and small mammals. The mating months for these animals are April and May. The length of the American Alligator is anywhere from 13ft to 18ft although half of their length is their tail.
