Why Britain Lost

It was hard for Britain to get supplies as fast as America could. Once the victory of Saratoga was known it was clear to the French that if they didn't get into the war quickly there was danger that England would make peace with America. So in February of 1778 America and some other foreigners entered into the war and started helping them. They helped them get everything they needed: guns, gunpowder, etc. Whenever they thought they needed a certain supply of something they would say so and they would have all of the supplies they needed in less than two days! Britain on the other hand had to have a way to reach Europe. They had to have supplies shipped all the way from Europe to America. That would take a while to do. Britain was running out of supplies really quickly! American was getting stronger and stronger day after day! That wasn't good for the British at all. As a result of this, Britain lost the war.
