BATTLES

Throughout the American Revolution hundreds of battles were fought between Britain and America. Today we know about at least 380 of them. Many of the battles were fought along the east coast (especially New York and Pennsylvania), as far west as South Carolina and even up into Canada. These battles raged on until the last British troops left New York in December 1783. Click here for a list of battles.
