How Indians Weave
First Indians made a loom. Indians made there loom
out of two-by-fours and it stands 40 inches tall.
It's 25 inches long and it's held
together with
1/4 inch hardwood dowells make up the main cross
pieces. The Indians heddle is 3/8 inch dowels and
they can do weaves up to 31 or 32
inches high on
their loom. The widest loom Indians have made is
abaut 24 inches wide.
