Pocahontas and the Strangers

By: Clyde Robert Bulla

Pocahontas and the Strangers is about an Indian girl named Pocahontas. Pocahontas is the daughter of Powhatan the Indian king .One day the pale-faces came. Pocahontas and her brother named Nantaquas went to Jamestown and saw the pale-face. One of the pale-faces was named John Smith. Pocahontas liked him. When Jamestown was out of food Pocahontas brought food to them and saved the pale-faces from starving. One day the Indians thought the pale-faces were attacking. This turned out to be true, so the Indians went to their hiding-place. And the pale-faces left for along time but others came.

Pocahontas soon got married to a man named John Rolf and went to England. There she saw captain John Smith again. Then she had a son and a couple of days later she died.

I liked the book Pocahontas and the Strangers because it is interesting. My favorite part is when Powhatan brought all of the Indians to the hiding-place, and Pocahontas found out that they were fighting the pale-faces. I think you will really like this book. I think this is the best book I have ever read.
