Love Flute
by Paul GobleThis story is about a shy young man who was given the very first love flute, long ago, by the birds and animals. He could face enemy warriors in battle than to speak to the girl. The other men liked the girl too. They stood outside her tipi all day. He wished he was like them, they whistled to her or threw pebbles into the water as she filled her water carrier. One morning he left the camp. It did not matter where he went or what happened to him. On the evening of the forth day, he lay down at the edge of the forest. Two tall elk men with black and yellow painted all over them, stood above him. They gave him a love flute. He whistled to the girl he loved and she herd it and they lived together.
I think Love Flute was a great story because I have never known that a flute could make a girl come to a boy. It was interesting. You can check this out at your school library or your local library. You will love this book!
