Her Seven Brothers

Once there was a girl who made beautiful clothes. One day she was sewing clothes for a man. A shirt and moccasins. She decorated them in bright colors When they were done she put them away and started on new ones. When those were finished, another. Her mother asked who she was making them for. And the girl said there are seven brothers who live alone where the cold winds come from. They have no sister. I will ask them to be my brothers. When the seven pairs of moccasins and seven shirts were done she went to the seven brothers. They will be her brothers. Then she starts to live there with them. But one day some buffalo came and said they want the girl. But the girl wouldn't come. So the hole herd of buffalo charged. One of the brothers shot an arrow up and a tree grew. Then the girl and her seven brothers climbed up the tree. It wasn't high enough. So one of the brothers shot another arrow up and the tree grew all the way to the sky and that's where they are now as stars.

 

I like this story, especially the part where the littlest brother saves them all.It's a very good book.
