Once there was a girl who loved wild horses. She took care of them the best she could. She knew where to find them shelter and nice grassy fields. One day the girl got sleepy and went to sleep. Then dark gray storm clouds started to form overhead , the girl woke with alarm, the thunder rolled and the lightning flashed. She jumped onto the back of a horse. The horses ran into a far away field. The warriors of the village searched for the girl for two whole years before they found her and when they did find her they took her home to her parents . They were so happy to see her. Then one day the girl became ill and the medicine man came by to see her the next day. He said he could not find a cure for her. Then the girl suggested that she go back and live with the horses and her parents agreed. Every year after the girl went to live with the horses she sent her parents a colt. Then one year she did not and warriors of the village went to ask why and found out she had turned into a horse.

I liked this story a lot because I thought it was an interesting story. I liked it because it was interesting the way the girl wanted to live with horses more than her parents. If I were the girl’s parents I would not want her to go. I think you’ll really like this book.
