Chapter 2 Puffy Town

“Welcome to Puffy Town!” the Mayor said in a deep and jolly voice.

“Why are we here?” said Holly and Chandler at the exact same time.

“Why, your plane crashed just a mile from here. You poor things. I have some tools and food that you can have if you would like to get home. You will need to cross 5 landmasses. It won’t be easy so here are 20 Puffy Town nuggets. They are very rare to the people in the last landmass. You will be able to buy your tools and food with this money. Also, I’ll let you borrow Tor. He will guide you on your journey."

“What’s a Tor?” Holly interrupted.

“Why, Tor is a highly intelligent being who knows the culture, information, terrain, evil lords, recourses to use, currency, and people of each world. I think you’ll like being in his presence," he told Holly with a wink.

“Well, what is he?”

“I can call him for you!”

“Well, could you do it so that we can get this done?” Chandler was being quiet until now and his nerves were just about shot.

Suddenly, a flash of light came down from the ceiling.

“Hello, Mayor! You rang?” a little voice said.

“Yes, Tor. Thank you for coming. I have a favor to ask. Humans have come to Puffy Town and I believe they can help us at the same time we are helping them. Could you watch over them and help them through the worlds?” the Mayor asked. Tor became white, and then slowly turned pink, then purple, then green, his normal color. Holly could tell that he was nervous.

“Well, OK. Could you tell me their names?” Tor asked.

“The tall one’s name is Holly, the other is Chandler.”

“Holly? Chandler? What strange names.”

“Please help them Tor.”

“Yes, Mayor.”

“Remember, watch out for the goblins! Good luck and good bye.”

“Wait a second! Goblins? Who said there were Goblins?” Holly shouted.

“I have a bad feeling about this…" Chandler added.

Tor led the two humans through a glowing door at the outskirts of Puffy Town.
