How to use a Protractor
Normal Protractor
3. You need to have a protractor that is 6 inches by 3 inches. You also need to have an angle that is straight on the bottom right line and one that can be pointed anywhere for the second. The lines need to be connected by one dot right where they intersect.
4. Put the protractor over the angle seeing the dot right in the hole. The right angle near the hole is where the protractor is placed (right over the straight line horizontally).
5. Find something straight (preferably a ruler) and put it right on top of the line that can point anywhere. Then you can see where the line is pointing to and measure how many degrees it is (the answer. You can also use the way that the Triangle/Ruler/Protractor uses.
