Average
To find the average of numbers
You add up the numbers and
Divide the sum by the amount
Of numbers you added up.
Bar Graph

with the length of the bars.
Common Denominator
A common multiple of two different
denominators.
Decimals
Decimals show parts of a whole
Number, for example .5 which is
1/2 of 1.
Denominator
Denominators are the bottom part
of a fraction. They say how many parts
there are to a whole.
Division
Division can be used to break up

A sentence with numbers that can

Fraction
Numbers that are used to show parts
of the whole, the numbers look like this

Least Common Denominator
The lower number that is a denominator

Numerator
The top part of a fraction which shows
Part of the whole.
Percent
A percent is a part of 100, much like
a fraction. For example 25/100 is 25%.
The sign % means percent.
Simplest Form
The smallest form of a fraction, for
Example 12/48 can be simplified to
1/4. This is done dividing the denominator
and numerator by the largest number you
can get to go into both numbers.
