Did you know that sea creatures
have lifecycles. Well they sure do. When we did research, we found
a jellyfish food web. The Jellyfish food web starts with the egg then the
seed called a planula. It shows that the seed is starting to grow. After
the planula is formed, an object starts to grow called a ployp. A
ployp looks like a small macaroni noodle. After a few days, it opens
up and forms a new object that is still called a polyp. After the polyp
forms it grows into a baby sized jelly fish and grows just like we do.
That's a little bit about how jellyfish grow from a egg to an amazing swimming
sea creature.
