RADIO-When the radio was first developed in 1879, it was bulky, noisy, and had
poor reception. As technology improved, it was changed into a small device,
becoming popular in the 1920’s. In 1922, the beginning of public radio
broadcasting started at a radio station in Pittsburgh. Radios quickly became a
success; they were convenient, cheap, and useful. They helped convey ideas and
information. Later on, radios were used to broadcast things from concerts to
sermons. Even today, radios are a popular electronic that persuades people to
buy, sell, etc., entertains them with different types of music, and it informs
people about recent happenings.
