AUTOMOBILE- The automobile has two different time periods in the history of
being invented. Although Richard Dudgeon actually invented an automobile in 1866
of New York City who made it similar to a steam engine, Henry Ford, in the
1920’s, developed the USA’s first affordable car. It was created
with a combustion engine. Ford was known for bringing Model-T to the era of
transportation, and he later on founded Ford Motor Company. The automobile
improved society quite a bit: parents drove cars to work, family visited friends
who lived farther away, and young adults had fun. The automobile industry also
created more jobs such as construction for wider roads. Obviously, it improved
transportation, but it also boosted economy, so it was a very important
invention.
