Our mission in developing and publishing Kids Express is to:

1. Engage all visitors to the site in an experience of learning and fun.

2. Challenge all visitors to become responsible and knowledgable citizens of planet Earth.

3. Provide all visitors with a forum to become and remain updated on Current Events of interest.

4. Encourage all visitors to return in the never-ending quest for knowledge.

Q: What is this site about?
A: This site is about problem solving, and learning many different techniques....such as.....making a valid opinion, reading, writing articles, making grabbers, voting, making surveys, and more!

Q: Who is this site geared for?
A: This site is geared for practically anybody who knows how to read, and click buttons! This is even geared for teachers, and teaching their classes.

Q: What needs to be done? (What are the jobs needed?)
A: You need to update the resource files and graphics, edit and publish the articles that are being submitted for the online newspaper and the Soap Box Park, and all the other places and stops. Most of the management is done through the web!

Q: How often do I/we need to go in and check this site?
A: The amount of time spent on the site varies. It depends on how busy the site is. We suggest once a week, or twice if possible.

Q: Am I allowed to change/alter this site?
A: You are allowed to change this site, but after the changes, the site MUST follow the mission. (the mission is at the top)

Q: How would I/we be able to make changes to this site?
A: We suggest that you do not make changes to the basic site set-up. Please maintain The Kids Express, The Bullet-Train Bulletin and SoapBox Park/Youth Booth. You may add resources for writing, thinking, giving opinions and taking action.

Q: What's the password to get into the Ease-Zine editing room?
A: It is not available until we approve a new "trainmaster". If you are interested, please contact us at the following e-mail address trainmaster@kapaams.k12.hi.us. We would like to teach a teacher or class to take over next year.

Q: Which posts should I/we allow to be put up? Which shouldn't I/we?
A: You should allow posts that have to do with at least one of the headings in the magazine. They should also make sense. Do not allow articles that do not follow the rules....like if they're written all in caps, or do not use proper english.

Q: What if the "reporter" doesn't have an e-mail address?
A: The Reporter needs to have a valid e-mail address, either his/her own, a group/class/school address, or a teacher's/administrator's address.

Q: What do I do with the old "raw-text files"?
A: You should delete the old files, since they're not needed yet.
