The Quetzal lives in rotting trees.  Quetzals can grow to 14’’ and the tail can grow to 24’’.  The Quetzal is green, with red breasts.  They eat fruit, insects, frogs, lizards, and snails.  Quetzals have their young by laying eggs.  But sadly Quetzals are endangered because of poachers.
