Hoatzins live in the trees of the Amazon Forest.
The adults can grow to be 36 cm.
They have a short fat body, stout legs and feet, broad tail, a long
scruffy neck, tiny head capped by a scraggly crest of spiky feathers, and
big weak wings. They eat
fruits and leaves of
Lots-of-different-trees.
Their young hatch out of eggs.
They are closely related to the cuckoos.
But watch out, they stink!
