The Zodiac Killer

This zodiac killer killed at least 5; claimed responsible for 37.  Some people such as Robert Graysmith, thinks that the zodiac killer killed much more including a number of unsolved homicides in the 1970's.  The last body found was in October of 1969.

    The crazy man sent numerous messages to police in a code.  When they figured out what it meant it read, "I like killing people because it is so much fun.  It is more fun than killing wild game in the forest."  The zodiac spread fear across the San Francisco area in 1969 when he threatened to "wipe out" a school bus full of children.  The first deaths were of 2 teenagers -- Betty Lou Jensen and David Faraday -- were shot to death in a lover's lane near Vallejo, Calif.   Another death was when a man and women were killed in a car.  The zodiac killer always killed people when the were alone with a man or woman.  In 1992 the finally figured out who killed all of those people even though the suspect was always dead.

    This tells people what guns can do.  Even with just one person causing all of this trouble.

The Tomball Killing

   Last week there was a killing at Tomball High School, in Houston, Texas.  A mother, also a substitute teacher, bought a gun at Oshman's Sport Store.  That day she went to the school and shot her daughter and son.  The daughter unfortunately died, and the son survived the shot.  She is presently held in custody in jail and awaits her trial.
