                   One of Michelangelo's really famous sculptures was David.  David was started in 1501 and finished in 1504.  Four years is a very long time to work on a sculpture in my opinion .  It stood at 4.34m/14 ft tall .  David was basically a sculpture of a human man standing.

            One of Michelangelo's really famous paintings was the Sistine Chapel.  The Sistine Chapel was built between 1475 and 1483.  It is a rectangular shape and is 40,93 meters long by 13,41meters wide.  The Sistine Chapel is also 20,70 meters high.
It's roof  is  a flattened barrel vault  with little side vaults over the centered windows.
