The average zebra stands between 47 and 55 inches tall at the shoulders. They have different variations of stripes and patterns. They are found from Ethiopia to South Africa. The largest species live in Ethiopia, Somalia, and Kenya. There are a few different kinds of Zebras such as Buchell, Grevy, and the Mountain zebras. Zebras usually live in small family groups consisting of a stallion (or male), a couple of mares, and fouls.
