Warthog

The warthog is
found from Sahara to Cape Province in thinly forested areas. It stands 28 inches at the
shoulder. The warthogs neck and back are covered with long bristly hair. Its tail is
long and it is tufted at the end. The warthogs head is large with a wide, flat
muzzle. Its eyes are set far back in its head and it has bad eyesight. Both the male and
female have two sets of large tusks that curve upward. They are on the upper and lower
jaw. The warthog has large warts between its tusks and eyes. It eats roots, berries, and
grasses.
